Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For controls- All low risk pregnancies who deliver in Kasturba medical college, manipal in the study period and who have information available regarding their maternal baseline characteristics, ultrasound findings and complete laboratory report. For cases- All the complicated cases who will be attended in kasturba medical college, manipal in the study period and have information available regarding their maternal baseline characteristics, ultrasound findings and complete laboratory report.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All the cases who will be attended in kasturba medical college, manipal in the study period and do not have information available regarding their maternal baseline characteristics, ultrasound findings and complete laboratory report.

MeasureTime frame
To study pregnancy complications ( second trimester abortions/congenital malformatioms & chromosomal abnormalities/ preeclampsia/gestational diabetes mellitus/ intra-uterine growth restriction/ spontaneous preterm delivery/stillbirths ) and their association with first trimester maternal characteristics( age/height/weight/BMI/previous significant obstetric history),sonological features( croen rumo length/uterine artery doppler)and serum analytes( HbA1c/ PAPP-A/ Beta-hcg/ placental growth factor)Timepoint: Maternal characteristics will be noted in the booking visit Serum analyte values will be noted after the first basic antenatal blood tests Sonological features will be noted between 11-13 weeks of pregnancy during NT scan Pregnancy complications will be noted during the course of pregnancy

To study fetal outcomesand their association with first trimester maternal characteristics(age/height/weight/BMI/previous significant obstetric history),sonological features( croen rumo length/uterine artery doppler)and serum analytes( HbA1c/ PAPP-A/ Beta-hcg/ placental growth factor)Timepoint: Delivery details will be noted fetal outcome in terms of term/preterm birth, birth weight, APGAR score, NICU admission will be noted
