Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All complex lower limb fractures like pelvis ,femur ,tibia .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -confirmed lower limb DVT pre-operatively -coagulation abnormalities -severe liver or kidney disease -Head Injuries

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate deep vein thrombosis and associated pulmonary embolism in the postoperative period of lower limb complex trauma. Patient compliance and adherence with venous thromboprophylaxis medication.Timepoint: Patient will be assessed on postoperative day 2 , at 6th and 12th week.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate wound dehiscence associated surgical site infection .Timepoint: wound status is evaluated along 1 month post operative period.
