Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects aged 30-65 yrs. 2. Non smokers 3. Subjects with chronic periodontitis.( with periodontal pocket >=5mm)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with any systemic disease. 2. Subjects who have undergone any periodontal treatment in the last 6 months. 3. Subjects who have received antibiotics/anti-inflammatory drugs/steroids in the recent past 4. Pregnant or lactating women. 5. Alcoholics or anti-oxidant vitamin consumers.
