Interventions

Intervention1: Muscle Energy Technique (MET) along with Exercise Therapy (ET): Muscle Energy Technique with Exercise Therapy consisting Hughstons Rotator Cuff Strengthening Exercises and Riivalds Dyna
MET- twice a week for 6 weeks
ET- once in a day for 6 weeks Control Intervention1: Exercise Therapy (ET): Exercise Therapy consisting Hughstons Rotator Cuff Strengthening Exercises and Riivalds Dynamic Scapular Stabilization Exerc
once in a day for 6 weeks

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects will be first evaluated and diagnosed as SAIS by orthopedic surgeon 2. Male and female between the ages of 18 to 40 years 3. Unilateral shoulder pain of more than one month localized (anterior and/or anterolateral) to the acromion region 4. Cut off of 3 5. PM tightness (PMI below the cut off of ----) 6. Subjects who can understand and follow the commands (with MMSE score 24 7. Subjects willing to participate in the study and sign the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Cervical or shoulder symptoms reproduced by a cervical screening exam 2. Symptoms of numbness or tingling in the upper extremity 3. A history of the followings: onset of symptoms due to traumatic injury, glenohumeral joint dislocation, acromioclavicular joint separation, a history of shoulder, waist and chest surgery, fracture or dislocation of the affected shoulder, inflammatory joint disease, fibromyalgia. 4. Pregnancy 5. Physiotherapy treatment within last three months.
