Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To evaluate the qCON and qNOX indices for depth of anaesthesia and response of patient to noxious stimulus respectively in paediatric population.Timepoint: Post laryngoscopes and intubation and post skin incision. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To study the correlation between 1. The qCON index with the consciousness level and minimum alveolar concentration (MAC) of anaesthetic drug to track changes in the effects of anaesthetics in the brain. 2. The qNOX index with response of patient to noxious stimulus such as tracheal intubation using endotracheal tube or supraglottic airway insertion and surgical incision. Timepoint: Post laryngoscopes and intubation and post skin incision. | — |
