Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting with complaints of Reduction of sleep time, Difficulty in initiation of sleep, Wakefulness during normal sleep, either any of these or all of these for the duration of 3 months or more.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients below 60 years of age. 2) Patients with severe Psychic disease. 3) Patients with Moderate or Severe Hypertension, Stroke, Haemorrhagic disorders, Epilepsy. 4) Patients with Alcohol dependency or drug dependency/addiction.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1) Symptom Rating Scale. 2) Athens Insomnia Scale(AIS). 3) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI).Timepoint: 3 evaluations will be done at an interval of 15 days for total period of 45 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in the quality of sleepTimepoint: Evaluation will be done after 45 days
