Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient fulfilling criteria of American Society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) of Classes I/ II/ III. Patient aged 18-65 years. Patients undergoing elective transnasal transsphenoidal resection of pituitary tumors. Patientâ??s giving consent willingly.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: GCS less than 15 Preoperative Heart Rate less than 50 beat/min Pregnant patients Patients who Take any Alpha-Methyldopa,Beta blockers,Calcium Channel blockers CAD,EF >40%,pre-existing arrythmias and heartblock. Patients with prexisting psychiatric or neurological illnesses Emergency pitutary surgery incase of bleed Renal insuffuciency Allergy in dexmedethomidine and opioid Morbid Obesity Denied consent
