Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing flap surgeries in Departments of General Surgery,Plastic Surgery,Surgical Oncology and Orthopaedics in KMC,Manipal

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients below 18 years in age Patients undergoing finger flap surgeries Patients not willing to participate in the study

Non-obese patients are expected to have a better post-operative outcome as compared to obese patientsTimepoint: 14 days—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Non-obese patients have lesser rates of complications such as partial/total flap loss,flap necrosis,seroma,hematoma,donor site complications, surgical site infections,systemic perioperative complications like acute MI,stroke,acute kidney injury and the length of post-operative hospital stay compared to obese patientsTimepoint: 14 days—
