Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Rectangular grid plate might be an easy-to-use alternative to conventional miniplates in terms of less surgical time and simultaneous stabilization at both the superior and inferior border by one plate; in the angle region. Due to the superior design of 3-D rectangular grid plates maximum number of screws lie near the fracture site thus providing better stability and thus open up doors for its satisfactory use in the management of displaced fractures of mandibular angle.Timepoint: 1st week 1st month 3rd month post operative | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcomes are difference in duration & ease of plate fixation and complications such as restricted mouth opening paresthesia plate fracture screw loosening malunion and nonunion between the conventional single linear miniplate and rectangular grid plate in treatment of mandibular angle fractureTimepoint: First week 1st month and third month postoperatively | — |
