Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a)Presence of any other endocrinological disorder or uterine cancer b)Fibroids c) Adenomyosis d) Abnormal uterine bleeding e)Pelvic tuberculosis f)History of hormonal treatment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the localization and expression of EGFR, erbB-2, erbB-3, erbB-4 and estrogen receptors (ERα and ERβ) in paired samples of OE group and eutopic endometrium of control groupTimepoint: 2 year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To correlate, the expression pattern of estrogen receptors in these tissues with the findings of the erbB-expression. 2.To compare the expression pattern of estrogen receptors and erbB-expression between fertile/infertile and proliferative/secretory subgroups to investigate the association of these expression patterns with fertility and menstrual phase. 3.To investigate the possible role of the erbB receptor family in the development and progression of ovarian endometriosis Timepoint: 2 year
