Interventions

Intervention1: Oxytocin: Patients of one group will recieve oxytocin infusion at 4miu/min and it will be doubled every 30mins to a maximum of 64miu/min for primigravida and 32miu/min for multigravida

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of Pre labour rupture of membranes with more than 37 weeks period of gestation. 2.single live fetus in cephalic presentation. 3.Bishops score of less than 6.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with features of chorioamniotis. 2.Previous cesarean section. 3.History of antepartum hemorrhage. 4.Absolute indications for cesarean section. 5.Maternal heart disease, glaucoma and asthama 6.fetal intra uterine growth restriction.
