Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >18 years. 2. ASA 1 or 2 3. Gestational age >37 weeks. 4. Women posted for elective cesarean section

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA 3 or 4 2. Declined consent from patient 3. Psychiatric or cognitive disorder patient 4. Patient of pregnancy induced hypertension or any other comorbidity (diabetes mellitus ,hypertension, bronchial asthma, liver or kidneyfailure, bleeding disorder, neuromuscular disorder, allergy to local anaesthetics) 5.Inability to understand /operate PCA pump.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the effect of age of gravida on post cesarean section painTimepoint: Vas score will be recorded at 6hr, 12 hr 18 hr,24 hr, 48 hr and 72 hr after end of cesarean section pain

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
assess the effect of breastfeeding on post cesarean section pain.Timepoint: VAS score before and after breast feeding on Day 1,Day 2 and Day 3 after cesarean section
