Inclusion criteria: 1.Age more than 18 years 2.ASA 1 to 3 3.Hip surgeries under spinal anesthesia 4.Elective or emergency procedure

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal 2.Head injury 3.Allergy to the local anesthetic agents 4.Coagulation abnormalities 5.Local site infection 6.Alcohol abuse 7.Neurological disorders 9.Uncooperative patients due to psychiatric/cognitive disorders 10.Multiple fractures
