Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients of either sex, aged 20â??70 years, 2)Body mass index (BMI) 25â??35 kg/m2 3)ASA physical status I & II 4)Patients with normal cardiorespiratory function
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Refusal by patient for the procedure 2)Patients having bleeding disorders or on anticoagulants, 3)Those having a history of treatment for a chronic pain condition and were on daily analgesics for more than 4 weeks 4)Patients with basal metabolic index >35 kg/m2 or the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status >Il 5)Patients with infection at the site of injection. 6)Those with allergy or sensitive to local anaesthetic agents 7)Those with severe respiratory disease, neurological deficits involving the popliteal nerve
