Intervention1: Ocimum sanctum: Ocimum sanctum gel will be prepared and will be applied in the patients mouth. The total duration of the study is 3 months and frequency of therapy will be once in 3 Mo

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A minimum complement of 20 teeth to be present at the time of evaluation Age of the patients will be 17 to 45 years of either sex No history of dental treatment in the preceding 6 months including oral prophylaxis Bleeding Index Score of more than or equal to 2 Pocket Probing Depth of more than or equal to 5mm Plaque Index Score of more than or equal to 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers Pregnant women and lactating mothers Immuno-compromised patients Patients who have received antimicrobial therapy or periodontal treatment six months prior to the study Subjects with prosthetic treatment
