Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are diagnosed with vitiligo attending during study period will be included. Comparison group includes patients with non-vitiligo and with conditions which are not known to be associated with metabolic syndrome and should be appropriately matched for age and sex will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women who are pregnant and lactating. Patients who are using systemic treatment for last 3 months.

This study will give information about prevalence and risk factors of metabolic syndrome in vitiligo patients and relation of metabolic syndrome to severity,duration and progression of vitiligoTimepoint: 18months
