Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with normal coagulation profile 2. All routine cardiac surgery patients needing femoral artery cannulation 3. Patients undergoing routine coronary angiogram where sheath is put in femoral artery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patientâ??s refusal to give consent 2. Age less than 18 years or greater than 80 years 3. Patient undergoing emergency cardiac surgery 4. Patients who have underwent femoral arterial catheterization any previously 5. Patients having coagulation disorder 6. Pregnant women
