Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patiets between the age of 18-45 year irrespective of their cast, marital status and economic class. 2. Patients of either gender. 3. Patients of hypothyroidism with depression evaluated by "Hamilton Depression Rating Scale" with score of 8 and above.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with history of depressive disorder or anxiety disorder before being diagnosed as hypothyroidism. 2. Patients with history of substance dependence psychotic disorders or any other major axis I psychiatric disorder and epilepsy. 3. Patients suffering from hyperthyroidism and thyrotoxicosis. 4. ANC patients of hypothyroidism. 5. Patients with any other major systemic disorder. 6. Patients with uncontrolled Diabetes Mallitus
