Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients above the age of 18 years, coming to Kasturba Hospital, Manipal with suspected perforation peritonitis on clinical examination or radiological investigation, or any patient having incidental finding of small bowel perforation while being operated for other causes
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Cases of primary peritonitis. Cases of perforation peritonitis where the perforation is anywhere other than the small intestine. Patients who do not undergo surgical treatment.
