Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. New born premature babies born with gestational Age 2. Babies born > 36 weeks with but having risk factors like mechanical ventilation, prolonged oxygen therapy, hemodynamic instability, severe respiratory distress syndrome, etc, as per pediatricians discretion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Babies born after 36 weeks of gestation without any risk factors. 2. Parents not giving consent for screening.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Premature babies screened and followed up for retinopathy of prematurity till they require treatment or become normal (whichever earlier)Timepoint: Till 6 months of age

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To ensuring appropriate screening for refractive error, strabismus, amblyopia, and vision rehabilitationTimepoint: Till 2 years of age
