Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group between 18 to 65 year

Exclusion criteria: Age below 18 year and above 65 year

Administering fentanyl 5 min prior to propofol will cause marked reduction in the dose requirement of the latter and a significant decrease in incidence of hypotension, unwanted movements, vocalisation and bucking during induction as compared to 3 min interval.
