Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients within this age group comming to trauma triage within 24 hrs of injury and blood sample collected within this period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who received blood transfusion prior to sample collection 2. Patients undergoing any procedures at another hospital after the trauma event before being transferred 3.Patients with conditions and/or diseases that result in coagulation abnormality (e.g blood disease, advanced malignant tumor, pregnancy, severe hepatic dysfunction, on anticoagulant agents.) 4.Patients having clinical manifestation and venous ultrasound scan of DVT 5.Patient with RT-PCR and Gene Xpert based COVID-19 test positive at the time of sample collection
