Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients who are previously diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus and are taking oral antidiabetic drugs 2) HbA1c levels >6.5%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with type 1 diabetes 2) Case of uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus and its complications 3) Cases with malignant hypertension 4) Patients who are taking insulin therapy 5) Pregnant women and lactating mothers 6) Known underlying immune deficiencies/serious illness (TB, cancer, AIDS)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The outcome measurement will be done by assessing the changes in HbA1c values at an interval of 3 months and FPG&PPBS once in a month from baseline to 12 months for both groupsTimepoint: 12 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in the number and dose of modern medicine after the integration of homoeopathic medicine will be considered as significant to the study after the statistical analysisTimepoint: 12 months
