Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consenting female patients, falling in the age group of 18-60 years, with BMI >=25 Kg/m2, scheduled for elective surgeries under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: . Pregnant patients . Patients requiring rapid sequence intubation . Patients with visible swelling around the neck. . Mouth opening less than 1.5 cm. . Patients with cervical spine abnormalities. . Patients with cervical spine trauma

To explore the correlation of neck length and neck circumference with intubation difficulty score (IDS).Timepoint: After complete intubation

To correlate the IDS with the following parameters: 1.Modified Mallampati classification 2.Thyromental distance 3.Thyromental height 4.Ratio of neck circumference to thyromental distance. 5.Presence of neck humpTimepoint: After complete intubation
