Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 & 2 The presence of clinical symptoms and signs of RICP, including Nausea, Vomiting , Headache etc. The presence of indicative signs of increased ICP on CT or MRI of the brain including narrowing of ventricles and cisterns, fading of the brain sulci, mass effect ,Midline shift etc.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Optic nerve diseases such as optic neuritis , meningioma, arachnoid cyst of Optic nerve and gliomas,anterior orbital or cavernous sinus mass,history of neurological disorder, hyperthyroidism,known orbital injury or prior ocular surgery

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Significant improvements in Frisen grade in both eye in fundus photographs and site investigator ratings.Timepoint: 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in ONSD are directly caused by ICP changes and are not influenced by papilledema.Timepoint: 6 months
