Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing orthodontic extraction of symmetric bilateral asymptomatic teeth. 2. Patients above the age of 12 years 3. Patient willing to give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Medically compromised patients. 2. Patients undergone antibiotic therapy in preceding two weeks. 3. Patients who needs post-extraction antibiotics. 4. Traumatic extraction. 5. Patients with known history of allergy to any medications. 6. Pregnant or lactating women. 7. Smokers 8. Patients not willing to give informed consent for the study. 9. Uncooperative patients.
