Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed as having opioid dependence syndrome according to ICD-10(Code F11.2) criteria 2.Patients of aged 18 to 50 years 3.Male patients 4.Able to speak, read, and write Hindi language 5.Able to provide formal informed consent 6.Patients with length of dependency till 5 years. 7.Both In patients (IPD) and Out patients (OPD) patients were considered to be part of sample 8.Patients in pharmacotherapy(treatment as usual)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with co-morbid substance dependence (except nicotine) with or without psychotic symptoms. 2.Patients with other co-morbid psychiatric diagnosis than anxiety and depression. 3.Patient having organic illnesses (based on hospital data base). 4.Patients should not be part of any other psychotherapeutic process.
