Interventions

Intervention1: Muscle Energy Technique: Post isometric relaxation(PIR) technique of MET will be given to bilateral hamstring muscle groups. Technique will be repeated Three times to each muscle group

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1, Elite and sub elite volleyball players. 2, At least 1000 Playing hours. 3, Those who are having hamstring tightness. 4, Those who are willing to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1, Any recent injury which makes them unable to practice / play. 2, Not involved in the game from the last 6-8 week

MeasureTime frame
Vertical Jump Test (VJ)Timepoint: Pre intervention - Before starting of the intervention. Post intervention - 2 minutes after the application of intervention. Duration timings - 1 day. (At the same day of intervention)

Active Knee Extension Test(AKE)Timepoint: Pre intervention - Before starting of the intervention. Post intervention - 2 minutes after the application of intervention. Duration timings - 1 day. (At the same day of intervention)
