Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status I and II 2. scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with cardiovascular disease, hepatic or renal disease or increased intracranial tension 2. Currently receiving opioids, steroid or antiemetic drugs and cancer patients on chemotherapy 3. Pregnant females
