Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Metabolically stable Type 2 Diabetes with signs and symptoms of Madhumeha (Type 2 Diabetes) as mentioned in clinical study will be selected from O.P.D. and I.P.D. of IPGT and RA Hospital, Jamnagar. 2. Newly diagnosed cases will be included for the study. 3.Classical signs and symptoms of Madhumeha ââ?¬â?? Suptata, Karpaddaha, Prabhuta Mutrata, Daurbalya, Chumchumayana. 4.Fasting plasma glucose ââ?°Â¥ 126 mg/dl to 200 mg/dl and Post Prandial glucose level ââ?°Â¥ 200 mg/dl to 300 mg/dl.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patientââ?¬•s age below 18 years and above 70 years. 2.Patients with other metabolic and endocrine disorders. 3.Patients having Fasting plasma glucose >200 mg/dl and Post Prandial glucose level >300 mg/dl. 4.Patients having any other malignancies, any other serious illness. 5.Patients with diabetic wound / ulcers. 6.Patients of Diabetes mellitus receiving Insulin. 7.Patients having chronic complications of Type 2 Diabetes. 8.Micro vascular: Retinopathy, Neuropathy and Nephropathy. 9.Macro vascular: Coronary artery disease, Peripheral vascular disease & Cerebro-vascular disease. 10.Other chronic debilitating disease like STD etc. 11.Pregnant and lactating women.
