Health Condition 1: S763- Injury of muscle, fascia and tendon of the posterior muscle group at thigh level

Interventions

Intervention1: Cold pack: Cold pack for 20 minutes followed by sustained stretching. Control Intervention1: Moist hot pack: Moist heat pack for 20 minutes followed by sustained stretching.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Sportsperson 2. Collegiate atheletes with hamstrings tightness.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Oen scars or wounds. 2. Uncooperative recreational atheletes. 3. Sportsperson undergoing any other treatment.

MeasureTime frame
Surface ElectromyographyTimepoint: This Outcome will be compared at baseline and post intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Sit and Reach testTimepoint: Sit and Reach test- It will take 15 minutes for the participant to perform the test, by bending forward with knees extended.
