Intervention1: Syrup ZINC GLUCONATE: ORAL ZINC 7mg between 1 to3years and 10mg between 4 to 12 years once daily for 6 months Control Intervention1: PLACEBO: Matching Oral placebo to the study group

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All children between 1 to 12 years of age with diagnosis of steriod sensitive nephrotic syndrome

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: secondary Nephrotic syndrome congenital nephrotic syndrome steriod resistant nephrotic syndrome nephritic syndrome patient who have taken zinc theraphy in last 3 months age 12year chronic infection (TB) severe Iron deficiency anemia patients whose parent didnt give consent

Role of zinc in reduction of infection rate , mean growth,cumulative dose of steroid and adverse effects in children with steroid sensitive nephrotic syndromeTimepoint: patients will be evaluated for number of relapses at 1 month, 2 months, 4 months and 6 months of study
