Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients more than or equal to eighteen years of age admitted with severe TBI (GCS eight or less) Patients with device used to support assist or control respiration by the application of positive pressure to the airway delivered through an artificial airway (oral or nasal endotracheal or tracheostomy tube) Duration of mechanical ventilation in Trauma ICU more than or equal to forty eight hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who expire in less than forty eight hours of mechanical ventilation Patients who refuse consent
