Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: obstetric patients pre-delivery or upto 6weeks post delivery admitted to icu for any cause related directly or indirectly to pregnancy with an anticipated stay of greater than 24hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: those not requiring insertion of foley catheter or with prior history of renal dysfunction or requirement of renal replacement therapy or with renal transplant

MeasureTime frame
Incidence, Severity, Risk Factors and Mortality associated with Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)Timepoint: Daily starting from admission to ICU till discharge/death from ICU (or truncated at 7 days for longer stay)

Urinary and Serum NGAL (for prediction of AKI; as well as hospital mortality)Timepoint: At time of ICU admission
