Intervention1: Preoperative Oral liquid feeds: 800 ml of 12.5% carbohydrate containing clear drink given on the night before surgery and 400 ml of the same drink given 4 hours before surgery Control I

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted with symptomatic cholelithiasis and planned for Elective Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with prior comorbidities. Patients having history of recent attack of pain abdomen. Presence of any intraoperative surgical complications. Patients not giving consent to be part of study.
