Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with medically intractable epilepsy requiring surgery requiring surgery with electrocorticography guidance under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with bradysrryhthmias,hypotension, uncontrolled hypertension, pregnancy, hepatic and renal impairment, cardiac disease, morbid obesity, known allergy to anaesthetic drugs

Changes in electrocorticographyTimepoint: 1. ECoG score obtained when dexmedetomidine is combined with isoflurane- recorded after the bolus dose of dexmedetomidine 2. EDP â?? EP; where EP is ECoG score obtained when propofol is administered alone and EDP is ECoG score obtained when dexmedetomidine is combined with propofol 3. (EDI â?? EI) Vs (EDP â??
