Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Identification and culture of commonly prevalent strains in primary and secondary infections of root canal. And subjecting select microorganisms for molecular methods.Timepoint: Sample collection at baseline and 1 day

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation of the efficacy of photodynamic therapy in the disinfection of root canals in teeth requiring endodontic re-treatment. Comparison of LED light and diode laser for photodynamic disinfection of root canals in teeth requiring endodontic re-treatment. Timepoint: Pre intervention assessment and post intervention assessment of secondary root canal infections. Samples are collected at baseline and 1 day.
