Health Condition 1: E119- Type 2 diabetes mellitus without complications

Intervention1: Madhutailika Basti: Anuvasana Basti with Murchitatila taila (72ml) Niruha with Madhutailika basti (576ml) given in modified Kalabasti(15 basti) pattern in 9 days. Control Intervention1:

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient fulfilling the diagnostic criteria of Prameha. Patients fit for Basti Karma. Patients with clinical positive history of Type II Diabetes for 5 to 10 years. Patients who give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with PPBS >320mg/dl, HbA1C above 10. History of frequent and/ severe allregic reactions with multiple medications. Diagnosed cases of other Endocrine and Metabolic disorders. Patients with Type I DM, Infectious diseases, Malignancy. Chain smokers, alcoholics, pregnant and lactating women. Patients unsuitable for Basti karma. Patients with other diabetic complications like Nephropathy, Diabetic Heart Disease, Ketoacidosis.
