Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) Diabetes patient who has received pharmacological (allopathic) treatment for more than one month at any time since diagnosis of diabetes, as per ADA guidelines. b) Patientâ??s age at the time of giving consent should be > 18 years c) Willing to accept & sign informed consent before data collection / documentation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Patient on alternative medicine only. b) Recent acute illness within one month (before the date of enrolling in the present study) requiring hospitalization. c) Illiterate persons. Not able to understand and comply with instructions. d) Patients unable to do self-care, self-administration of medication or have poor cognitive functions.
