Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consenting consecutive Hindi speaking patients ââ?°Â¥ 18-year old with Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale (RASS) ââ?°Â¥ âË?â??3 and an anticipated ICU stay >48hr will be included. Only the index admission will be considered.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known case of severe mental illnesses (SMI) like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Visual/hearing loss. Traumatic brain injury, acute brain lesion, or spinal cord injury, burns. Patients admitted because of drug overdose, Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) Transfer out or discharge or death within 48 hours of ICU stay.
