Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients above 18 years of age operated by the General Surgery Department of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal for gastrointestinal luminal malignancies during the study period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than 18 years

Determine the utility of Fluorescence and diffuse reflectance imaging in the diagnosis of Gastrointestinal lesions.Timepoint: 15 days (to obtain the report of HPE and validate the diagnosis)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Feasibility of identification of tumour free margins intraoperatively using Fluorescence and Diffuse reflectance. 2. Identification of premalignant lesions. 3. Differentiating malignant from benign lesionsTimepoint: 15 days (to obtain the report of HPE and validate the diagnosis)
