Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with primary pyoderma irrespective of age group, gender-willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients unwilling to participate in the study, Patients with secondary pyoderma, Patient on oral or topical antibiotics or less than 1 week since stopping antibiotics.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Frequency, percentage, Chi Square test/ Fischer’s Exact Test will be employed to analyze the data. A p value less than 0.05 will be consider as significantTimepoint: 8 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1) To study the culture and sensitivity profile of primary pyoderma. 2)To study the bacterial biofilm production in bacterial isolates. 3)To correlate between antibiotic resistance in biofilm-producers and non-biofilm-producers. Timepoint: 18 months
