Intervention1: Inj . Clonidine: Inj. Clonidine Bolus 2 mcg/kg over 10 minutes, infusion 1 mcg/kg/hr. Control Intervention1: Inj. Magnesium Sulfate: Inj. Magnesium Sulfate Bolus 40mg/kg over 10 minutes

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I & II Body weight of 45 to 65 kg Undergoing elective resection of nasal polyps ( duration 60-70 minutes)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of allergy to the study drugs . Patients with pre- existing bleeding and coagulation abnormalities History of hypotension, CAD , renal and hepatic dysfunction Cerebral insufficiency Patient not willing to participate in the study History of recurrent sinus surgery Orbital abscess CSF leak with or without CSF rhinorrhea
