Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I & II Body weight of 45 to 65 kg Undergoing elective resection of nasal polyps ( duration 60-70 minutes)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of allergy to the study drugs . Patients with pre- existing bleeding and coagulation abnormalities History of hypotension, CAD , renal and hepatic dysfunction Cerebral insufficiency Patient not willing to participate in the study History of recurrent sinus surgery Orbital abscess CSF leak with or without CSF rhinorrhea

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess and compare the haemodynamic parameters like HR , SBP , MBP from baseline at different time intervals in both the groups.Timepoint: 70 minutes

MeasureTime frame
To assess and compare emergence time , sedation score , VAS score and time to first rescue analgesic demand in post operative period.Timepoint: 240 minutes;To assess and compare the quality of intra-operative surgical field by using average categorical scale in both the groups.Timepoint: Fromme and Boezaart;To find out and compare the proportion of cases who develop complications.Timepoint: If any
