Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Asthmatic patients confirmed by latest GINA ( Global Initiate for Asthma) guidelines 2019 2.18-70 years of age 3.Dentulous patients at least 20 teeth with pocket depth less than 5mm with BOP (Bleeding On Probing) 4.No history of periodontal therapy in the last 3 months 5.Patients who will give their written consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of Smokers 2. Uncontrolled diabetes, known case of cardiovascular diseases and other comorbidities 3. Pregnant or lactating women 4. Edentulous and mentally disabled patients 5. Inability to perform lung function test 6. Use of any drug known to have an impact on periodontal tissues
