Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All children diagnosed with severe vaso occlusive crisis sickle cell disease aged 3 To 15 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: children with age less than 3 years and age more than 15years.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
pain score will be evaluated every 3rd hourly after starting of infusion ,if anytime pain score less than or equal to 6 for next 6 hours on same infusion rate is considered as responders.Timepoint: 3,6,9,12hours of infusion

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
if pain score greater than 6 hours even after 12 hours of infusion, they considered as non respondersTimepoint: 3,6,12 hours.
