Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare time taken for successful intubation and lung isolation in thoracotomy surgeries with Full View TM Double Lumen Tube and Conventional Double Lumen Tube.Timepoint: TIME MEASURED AS:T1-time taken from laryngoscopy to insert Double Lumen Tube and clinically confirm with 3 ETCO2 cycles will be noted as time for correct positioning:T2-time till correct positioning â??end point to this step is visualization of primary carina and bronchial cuff :T3-In FOB group time taken to visualize secondary carina and In Full View group a FOB will be done only required.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To compare Percentage requiring FOB for confirming position 2.To compare Percentage of displacement â?? while positioning/ intraoperative manipulation 3) To compare Airway injuries â??site/redness/burns Timepoint: TIME MEASURED AS:T1-time taken from laryngoscopy to insert Double Lumen Tube and clinically confirm with 3 ETCO2 cycles will be noted as time for correct positioning:T2-time till correct positioning â??end point to this step is visualization of primary carina and bronchial cuff :T3-In FOB group time taken to visualize secondary carina and In Full View group a FOB will be done only required.
