Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the clinical, functional and radiological outcomes of Anterior MIPO using reverse proximal humerus internal locking system with the posterior open reduction and internal fixation using extra-articular locking compression plate in the treatment of diaphyseal/metaphyseal distal third humeral fracturesTimepoint: 6 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare and assess complications with the intra-operative use of image intensifier among both the modes of surgical managementTimepoint: From the date of surgery up to 6 weeks; To compare and assess the operative time, intra-operative blood loss and radiation exposure among both the modes of surgical managementTimepoint: During intra operative and post operative periods
