Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Newly diagnosed patients 2) Chest pain lasting more than 30 min or patients having symptoms of angina equivalents 3) ECG showing ST elevation >1 mm in at least two contiguous leads in limb leads and >2 mm in chest leads i.e STEMI 4) Patients with confirmed enzymatic changes 5) Patients suitable for angiography having no contraindications to the administration of iodinated contrast.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Those with history of MI defined by established pathological Qwaves 2) Patients with signs of reperfusion by negative or biphasic Twaves will be excluded 3) Previous angioplasty of coronary vessels 4) Prior coronary artery bypass graft surgery 5) Presence of right or left bundle branch block 6) Left ventricular hypertrophy, Cardiomyopathy. 7) Patients with severe valvular heart disease other than ischemic mitral regurgitation and congenital cardiac anomaly 8) Patients with implanted pacemakers or valve prostheses 9) Patients with history of intake of drugs causing CB such as clonidine, methyldopa, verapamil, and digoxin.
