Intervention1: Vaman followed by Matrabasti: Vamana Karma in all around 1 Month followed by Lashuna Tailam Matra Basti Treatment for 7 days in each of the 3 consecutive months. Intervention2: Vamana K

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) Female Patients between the reproductive age of 15-45 years b) Both unmarried and married females. c) Diagnosed cases of PCOS d) Patients with Irregular cycles ( >35 or e) Patients with Irregular menses/scanty menses due to anovulatory cycle. f) Patients with Signs and Symptoms of Artava Kshaya due to PCOS alone. g) Patients fit for Vamana Karma and Matra Basti treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with abnormal menstrual cycle but not due to PCOS. 2. Patients with Amenorrhea, Hirsutism and Obesity but not due to PCOS. 3. Patients suffering from signs and symptoms of Artavakshaya Secondary to Hyper Thyroidisim, Tuberculosis, Anemia, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, Androgen Secreting Tumors, Functional Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, Hyperprolactenaemia. 4. Patients with Cervical Tumor, Polyp, Carcinoma Cervix, Uterine Fibroids, Tuberculous Endometritis. 5. Patients with Cardiac Disorders, Congenital Anomalies of Reproductive Organs, Malignant Tumors of Reproductive Organs, Adrenal/Pituitary Tumors, Cushing Syndrome. 6. Patients on Cytotoxic drugs 7. Patients with HIV or Venereal diseases or Hepatitis B positive patients. 8. Patients associated with any other severe systemic illness. 9. Patient not fit for Vamana or Matra Basti Karmas.
