Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Both the sexes having age between 30 to 65 years. Patients having chief & associated complaints of Madhumeha. Newly diagnosed patients (who had not received any antidiabetic medicinal intervention or internal medicinal intervention for management of Madhumeha) of Madhumeha (Type 2 Diabetes) having chief & associated complaints (at least three among signs and symptoms- Prabhuta- Avilamutrata, Pipasadhikya, Kshudhadhikya). FBS- Level � 126 mg/dl and � 200 mg/dl and or PPBS- level � 200 mg/dl and � 300 mg/dl and or. Glycated haemoglobin �7% and �9%.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age more than 65 and below 30 years. All patients of diabetes mellitus receiving insulin. All patients of diabetes mellitus receiving or received modern medicine as well as any other internal medicinal treatment. FBS- Level � 126 mg/dl and � 200 mg/dl PPBS- level � 200 mg/dl and � 300 mg/dl Glycated haemoglobin 9%. Malignant and accelerated systemic arterial hypertension. Other chronic debilitating diseases. Pregnant woman and planning to conceive within six months. Lactating mothers. Complications of diabetes: Non healing wound, end stage renal disease, systemic infection.
